Science Museum, Making the Modern World Gallery.
A Material Reclamation Audit of the Science Museum's Making the Modern World Gallery, ahead of its refurbishment.
Material Index carried out a Material Reclamation Audit of the Making the Modern World Gallery at the heart of the Science Museum, ahead of upcoming refurbishments. Using our digital platform, we catalogued the mezzanine structure, loose exhibition furniture, fixtures, fittings, floor coverings and lighting across approximately 2,800 m² of gallery space. Each item was given a reusability rating and an initial pathway, setting out what the museum could keep and what could be reused elsewhere.

We have completed over 250 audits across the UK, to BREEAM, GLA and LEED requirements. We aim to respond the same day, or within 24 hours, and can be on site within 5 days.
