What can I sell on Material Index?

How do I get paid?
Selling on Material Index is simple. Customers place orders, you fulfil them and invoice us, and our friendly procurement team handle the rest.
What does Material Index charge?
Listing is free. A single Material Index fee of 10% is applied to the total value of your order. This single fee covers our commission and payment processing costs.
Can I reclaim VAT on Material Index fees?
If you’re a UK-based seller, you’ll be charged VAT on our fees. Don’t worry, you can reclaim this VAT as part of your normal business expenses.
Can I connect my existing online store?
Yes. When you build your store you can list stock directly or connect an existing online store.
