A Pre-Deconstruction Audit of a 22-storey 1970s housing block on the Carpenters Estate. The scheme keeps most of its structure.
For Populo Living, Material Index carried out a Pre-Deconstruction Audit of Lund Quarter on the Carpenters Estate in Stratford, East London: the 1970s Lund Point tower of ground plus 21 storeys, warehouses on Rowse Close and terraced houses on Biggerstaff Road, around 17,600 m² in all. The audit gave every material a pathway in line with the waste hierarchy, supporting a redevelopment that retains and reuses the majority of the Lund Point structure.
