A Pre-Refurbishment Audit for Landsec. 252 tonnes went for off-site reuse, with raised access flooring redeployed on another Landsec project.

Material Index carried out a Pre-Refurbishment Audit of City Exchange, a 1970s office building above the Trinity shopping complex in central Leeds, ahead of a full strip-out to create modern, flexible workspace targeting BREEAM Excellent and WELL Gold. The audit identified 879 tonnes of material, with 252 tonnes designated for off-site reuse. Carpet tiles, fire doors, glazed partitions, mechanical plant and sanitaryware were kept in use, and the raised access flooring was redeployed on another Landsec project.
