33 Cavendish Square.
A Pre-Demolition Audit of a 1962 tower cluster and retail podium at Oxford Circus. The scheme keeps much of the existing frame.
For Gardiner & Theobald on behalf of Beam, Material Index carried out a Pre-Demolition Audit of 33 Cavendish Square, a 23-storey mixed-use block at Oxford Circus completed in 1962, with three towers, a mid-rise block and a retail podium. The audit covered around 63,980 m² of existing floorspace and gave every material a pathway in line with the waste hierarchy, supporting a scheme that retains a large proportion of the existing concrete and steel structure.
