“Office pod” covers a few genuinely different products, and it's worth knowing which one you need before you start browsing. Phone booths and work pods are single-person spaces: phone booths for calls and video meetings, work pods for focused individual work, both compact enough to drop into an open-plan floor. Meeting pods are enclosed spaces for two to five or more people, with integrated seating, power and often screens. Meeting booths cover similar group sizes but are open-fronted, less soundproofed, and better for informal catch-ups than confidential calls.
New office pods from premium manufacturers routinely run from several thousand pounds for a single-person booth up to five figures for a larger enclosed meeting pod, which is most of why reclaimed pods have become a real category rather than a niche.
Office pods are a high embodied-value item: a lot of engineering, acoustic material and glazing goes into one unit, so the carbon and cost saved by reusing rather than manufacturing new is significant compared with lower-value furniture categories.
Reclaimed pods also tend to come from relatively short first-life cycles: most were installed as part of a workplace refit within the last several years, so condition is often better than buyers expect from “used” stock.

If you're specifying for a full office fit-out rather than one pod, it's worth sourcing pods alongside the flooring, ceiling tiles and furniture coming out of the same or a similar project, rather than treating pods as a separate procurement exercise. That keeps lead times aligned and gives you one point of contact for condition queries and delivery scheduling across categories, not just within one.
